My household started playing this game in 1994, when it came out, and combined we have played through approximately 374357643564523 times, in about 1,000 different ways. My parents refused to buy it until Christmas of that year, so we racked up a fortune just renting the damned thing, because we couldn't stop playing it. In 1994 I was like, ten, and my obsession devotion has never wavered, not once. I have gone through various phases -- hating Terra, hating Celes, loving Gau, hating Gau -- but never have I stopped loving the game. I have every version ever released, and I will keep buying them as they come out. I grew up with this game, have written essays on its various themes, and it is without a doubt my favorite game. Always. Forever.

I guess, first and foremost, thanks to the video store on the corner of our street for carrying it. If only you knew what you unleashed.

I am incredibly lazy, so this project would have sat around unfinished for years were it not for the indispensible resources at my disposal. The following people did 90% of the work for me; all I had to do was show up and produce a bunch of lame lines and voila! A summary.
